1. 2-5 years experience as accountant handling accounts on an ERP accounting software ( Sage Pastel, XERO)
2. Ability to prepare management accounts ( PL, BS and Cash flow)
3. Ability to prepare payroll for employees as per Mauritian law.
4. Familiar with income tax Act, VAT Act and Employment Rights Act
5. Ability to prepare income tax return, VAT return and NPF return
6. Ability to file returns on MNS.
7. 1-2 years of experience to prepare Tax case files at MRA.
8.Sound knowledge of excel, word and powerpoint
9.IT conversant with ability to learn new software
10. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively ideas, concepts and information
11.Ability to work under pressure and to effectively handle multiple priorities, organise workload and meet deadlines
12.Able to work both independently as well as a member of a team.
13. Able to manage multiple clients.
14. Ability to prepare a financial statements as per IFRS .
15. Familiar with internal control systems pre requisites in a Company and ability to detect systematic issues.
