|Duties of Job
Ideal candidate with proficiency in the following
Reading and interpreting job specifications, blueprints, engineering or design drawings and schematics.
Performing work based on drawings, sketches, codes and company procedures.
Maintaining and using hand and power tools.
Maintaining, setting up and operating arc and oxyacetylene welding equipment to join, clamp, cut, fit, tack, weld and braze metal components and parts.
Writing quality/technical reports and maintaining repair records.

Salary: $22.50 Hourly

Our client is an international company that develops and manufactures hydraulic presses and complete production systems for the wood panel and automotive industries.
Able to work shift work
Able to work overtime and week ends
Able to use measuring and inspection tools
Required to own your tool box with tools
Overhead crane experience
Able to use hand tools on the shop floor
Understanding of the metric measurement system
|Other Skills / Competencies
Minimum 5 year experience as Welder
CWB certification is an asset
Arc/electrode welding experience
Sub-Arc experience an asset
Manual Torches experience, preheat, cut,
Able to read and interpret drawings
MIG and TIG experience for Stainless
Speak English and fluent in French
